Terms
Plain version: use it for planning trips, don't wreck it for anyone else, and understand that it's early software run by a small operation.
The service
This is a travel planning and expense-splitting app. It is currently in a private beta: features change, and access is invite-based while we keep the group small enough to support properly.
Your account
You need an account to use it. Keep your password to yourself, give us an email address you actually read (that is how account recovery works), and don't share one account between people who should each have their own — the splitting maths depends on knowing who is who.
Your content is yours
Your trips, expenses and journal entries belong to you. We store and process them only to run the service for you and the people you share a trip with. We don't claim ownership and we don't use your content to train anything.
Fair use
Don't use the service to break the law, to upload someone else's data without the right to, or to attack the service or the people on it. We can suspend an account that does.
The free promise
Offline access, importing bookings, and expense splitting are free and will not be moved behind a paywall. If we ever charge for something, it will be for extras on top — never for those three.
What we don't promise
The service is provided as-is. We work hard to keep your trip safe — the app is built so the copy on your device keeps working even when we don't — but we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and you should not rely on it as the only record of anything critical. Keep your own copy of things that would ruin a trip to lose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Money between you and other travellers
We calculate what people owe each other. We do not process, hold, or transfer any money, and we are not a party to those debts — settling up happens between you.
Ending it
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see Privacy). We may end or suspend access if an account breaks these terms or if we discontinue the service — in which case we will give you a way to export your data first.
Changes
These terms will change as the product grows. If a change materially affects you, we'll say so in the app.
