Privacy

The short version: your trip lives on your phone first, we collect the little we need to run an account, we sell nothing, and there are no third-party trackers on this site or in the app.

What we collect

• Your account — email address, a display name, optionally a first and last name (used so a split can say who paid), and a password that is only ever stored hashed. If you sign in with Google we store the Google account identifier instead of a password.
• Your trip content — everything you put in: itinerary events, stays, expenses and splits, decisions and votes, journal entries.
• How you found us — if you arrive with campaign parameters in the link, we keep those and the referring site so we can tell which channels work. It is stored in your own browser and attached to your account if you sign up.
• Operational logs — the server writes short-lived request and authentication logs (for example "a verification email was sent") to help us fix things and to rate-limit abuse.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics tags, session recording, or any third-party script. That is also why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to ask you about.

Where it lives

The app is offline-first: the working copy of your trip is stored in your browser or device so it keeps working with no connection. A synced copy lives in our database on servers we operate, so the people you travel with see the same trip and so you can restore it on a new device.

Who else touches it

• Resend — sends the account emails (verify, reset, invites).
• Cloudflare — sits in front of the site, and routes the address you can forward booking confirmations to.
• Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google, and only to confirm it is you.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Deleting your account

There is no self-serve delete button yet — this is honest rather than ideal. Ask us and we will delete your account and the trips only you belong to. Trips you share with other people stay with them, minus your personal details.

Keeping it

We keep your account and trip content until you ask us to delete it. Operational logs are short-lived and are not used to build a profile of you.

Children

The product is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app rather than quietly editing it.
